Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work ¿Y La Planificación?, 1995 by Gerd Leufert for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,043.54). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerd Leufert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Betijoque in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 206,250.00 (€ 182,151.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit ¿Y La Planificación?, 1995 von Gerd Leufert für USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.043,54) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerd Leufert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Betijoque im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.250,00 (€ 182.151,37).
