Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Grand Canal, America (Czestochowski 31) by Gerald Geerlings was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2002. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,151.00 (€ 2,303.24). Other works by Gerald Geerlings have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,182.50 (€ 4,233.73) in September 2002 for the work Black Magic (New York 1928) (see Czestochowski 6).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Grand Canal, America (Czestochowski 31) von Gerald Geerlings kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.151,00 (€ 2.303,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Gerald Geerlings haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.182,50 (€ 4.233,73) im September 2002 für die Arbeit Black Magic (New York 1928) (see Czestochowski 6) beobachtet.
