Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dutch Untitled by Ger Gerrits for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ger Gerrits achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Ijskarretje in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dutch Untitled von Ger Gerrits für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ger Gerrits erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Ijskarretje im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
