Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Ger Gerrits was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. The price achieved of EUR 956.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ger Gerrits achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Ijskarretje in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.

Die Arbeit Composition von Ger Gerrits wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 956,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ger Gerrits erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Ijskarretje im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
