Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dutch Stilleven Met Aronskelken by Ger Gerrits for EUR 11,875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ger Gerrits achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Ijskarretje in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dutch Stilleven Met Aronskelken von Ger Gerrits für EUR 11.875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ger Gerrits erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Ijskarretje im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
