Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Peeren - Pears by Ger Gerrits for EUR 646.25. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ger Gerrits achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Ijskarretje in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Peeren - Pears von Ger Gerrits für EUR 646,25 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ger Gerrits erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Ijskarretje im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
