Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Skies by Georgy Gurianov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2015. The price achieved of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 79,311.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georgy Gurianov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rower Sergey, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 188,500.00 (€ 226,834.52).

Die Arbeit Skies von Georgy Gurianov kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 79.311,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Georgy Gurianov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rower Sergey beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 188.500,00 (€ 226.834,52) versteigert wurde.
