Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Georges Valmier was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session auction at Phillips in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 11,970.00 (€ 11,154.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Valmier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Au Compotier in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 725,000.00 (€ 582,891.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Georges Valmier wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.970,00 (€ 11.154,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Valmier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Compotier im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 725.000,00 (€ 582.891,14).
