Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Georges Valmier was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,323.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Valmier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Au Compotier in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 725,000.00 (€ 582,891.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Georges Valmier kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.323,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Valmier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Compotier im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 725.000,00 (€ 582.891,14).
