Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Georges Valmier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in April this year. In the Art Impressionniste & Moderne auction, the work Les Acrobates au cirque sold for EUR 37,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Valmier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Au Compotier in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 725,000.00 (€ 582,891.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Valmier erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste & Moderne wurde die Arbeit Les Acrobates au cirque für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Valmier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Compotier im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 725.000,00 (€ 582.891,14).
