Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Christies in Skinner Marlborough, Mass held the auction Art Moderne, which included the work Autoportrait by Georges Valmier. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 30,240.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Valmier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Au Compotier in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 725,000.00 (€ 582,891.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in Skinner Marlborough, Mass die Auktion Art Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autoportrait von Georges Valmier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 30.240,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Valmier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Compotier im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 725.000,00 (€ 582.891,14).
