Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A group of eight portrait sketches: Self-Portrait; Vincent Van Gogh; Gustave Loiseau; Paul Gauguin; Gilbert White; Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec; Ambroise Vollard; and Paul Signac by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro was auctioned at Christies in London in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,450.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elégante dans un jardin in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,638.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A group of eight portrait sketches: Self-Portrait; Vincent Van Gogh; Gustave Loiseau; Paul Gauguin; Gilbert White; Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec; Ambroise Vollard; and Paul Signac von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.450,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elégante dans un jardin im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.638,17).
