In the Sporting Art and Dogs auction, the work Bran, property of the author sold for GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,311.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George William Horlor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The day's bag in October 2003 with an auction result of GBP 45,410.00 (€ 66,325.43).
