This work without title by George Shaw was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,439.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Shaw achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Undergrowth in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 79,875.00 (€ 93,228.43).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von George Shaw wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.439,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Shaw erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Undergrowth im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.875,00 (€ 93.228,43).
