Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,650.00 (€ 6,777.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Benjamin Luks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Williams in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,874,500.00 (€ 1,515,482.25).
