Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georg Kolbe could be acquired at Christies in New York in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Kleine Amazone changed hands for USD 25,200.00 (€ 24,411.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georg Kolbe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tänzerin in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 736,000.00 (€ 1,082,490.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Kolbe konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Kleine Amazone für USD 25.200,00 (€ 24.411,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georg Kolbe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tänzerin im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 736.000,00 (€ 1.082.490,90).
