Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2016 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work La Voix - 2006 by Gao Xingjian. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,450.00. Admittedly, works by Gao Xingjian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work By the Lake in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 57,881.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Voix - 2006 von Gao Xingjian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.450,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gao Xingjian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit By the Lake im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 57.881,92).
