Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gao Fenghan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection auction, the work Plum Blossom sold for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,612.43) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Fenghan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Fenghan erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection wurde die Arbeit Plum Blossom für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.612,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
