The work The Apricot Groves by Gao Fenghan was worth HKD 3,725,000.00 (€ 432,031.04) to a buyer in November 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gao Fenghan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Album Of Peonies sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
