Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers and Rock by Gao Fenghan was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 26,369.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Fenghan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers and Rock von Gao Fenghan wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 26.369,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
