This artwork by Gao Fenghan achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 885,000.00 (€ 99,652.31) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gao Fenghan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Fenghan erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 885.000,00 (€ 99.652,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
