Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plantain And Bamboo by Gao Fenghan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,397.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Fenghan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).

Die Arbeit Plantain And Bamboo von Gao Fenghan kam im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.397,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan erzielen.
