Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Frühling und Schicksal (Spring and Fate) by Friedrich Kunath was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 30,240.00 (€ 27,260.43). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Friedrich Kunath - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Fault Your Fault, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Frühling und Schicksal (Spring and Fate) von Friedrich Kunath kam im März letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 30.240,00 (€ 27.260,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Kunath mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Fault Your Fault beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 118.750,00 (€ 108.013,46) versteigert wurde.
