This artwork by Friedrich Kunath achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July last year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London auction, the work Caroline sold for GBP 69,300.00 (€ 82,756.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Friedrich Kunath; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot My Fault Your Fault sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Friedrich Kunath erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London wurde die Arbeit Caroline für GBP 69.300,00 (€ 82.756,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Friedrich Kunath; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit My Fault Your Fault im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 108.013,46).
