Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fredrik Værslev could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Shelf Paintings (Dew Problems) #11" changed hands for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,745.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fredrik Værslev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Canopy) in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 254,864.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fredrik Værslev konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Shelf Paintings (Dew Problems) #11" für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.745,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fredrik Værslev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Canopy) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 254.864,13).
