Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Phillips in 7 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York, which included this untitled work by Fredrik Værslev. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,778.00 (€ 1,607.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fredrik Værslev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Canopy) in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 254,864.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 7 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fredrik Værslev zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.778,00 (€ 1.607,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fredrik Værslev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Canopy) im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 317.000,00 (€ 254.864,13).
