Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Selected Images by Frederick H. Evans. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,340.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick H. Evans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'A Sea Of Steps', Wells Cathedral, Steps To Chapter House, 1903 in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 171,399.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected Images von Frederick H. Evans zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.340,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick H. Evans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'A Sea Of Steps', Wells Cathedral, Steps To Chapter House, 1903 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 171.399,15).
