Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2020 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Twin Elliptical Pendulum Curve by Frederick H. Evans. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,759.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick H. Evans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'A Sea Of Steps', Wells Cathedral, Steps To Chapter House, 1903 in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 171,399.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Twin Elliptical Pendulum Curve von Frederick H. Evans zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.759,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick H. Evans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'A Sea Of Steps', Wells Cathedral, Steps To Chapter House, 1903 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 171.399,15).
