Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 15 mg of Meth Times 2000 Plus by Fred Tomaselli was auctioned at Christies in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,135.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Tomaselli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Organism in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 735,650.00 (€ 914,651.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 15 mg of Meth Times 2000 Plus von Fred Tomaselli kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.260,00 (€ 1.135,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Tomaselli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Organism im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 735.650,00 (€ 914.651,73).
