The work Poultry at the pond; and Another similar by François van Severdonck was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2004. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,346.00 (€ 4,735.51), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by François van Severdonck; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of EUR 9,250.00.

Die Arbeit Poultry at the pond; and Another similar von François van Severdonck wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.346,00 (€ 4.735,51) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von François van Severdonck; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture im April 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 9.250,00.
