Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Walt Disney Concert Hall 2 by Frank Gehry was sold in the Prints & Multiples | Live Online auction at Bonhams in January this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,291.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Gehry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fish Lamp in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 239,400.00 (€ 212,102.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Walt Disney Concert Hall 2 von Frank Gehry wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.291,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Gehry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fish Lamp im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 212.102,42).
