Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Guggenheim Museum Bilbao - 2009 by Frank Gehry was sold in the Limited Edition auction at Artcurial in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,574.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Gehry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fish Lamp in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 239,400.00 (€ 212,102.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Guggenheim Museum Bilbao - 2009 von Frank Gehry wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Limited Edition bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.574,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Gehry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fish Lamp im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 212.102,42).
