Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A study by Frank Cadogan Cowper was sold in the British Art: Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,602.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Cadogan Cowper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Our Lady of the Fruits of the Earth in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 469,250.00 (€ 561,993.16).
