Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Dent Blanche by François de Ribaupierre was sold in the The Swiss Fine Art Sale auction at Sothebys in Zurich in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 8,820.00 (€ 8,519.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by François de Ribaupierre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait eines Walliser Mädchens. in July last year with an auction result of CHF 61,300.00 (€ 63,156.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Dent Blanche von François de Ribaupierre wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 8.820,00 (€ 8.519,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François de Ribaupierre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait eines Walliser Mädchens. im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 61.300,00 (€ 63.156,67).
