Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art/Swiss Made, which included the work Esprits Du Lac, 1909 by François de Ribaupierre. It changed hands for a price of CHF 37,500.00 (€ 32,364.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CHF 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by François de Ribaupierre have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July last year the work Portrait eines Walliser Mädchens. was auctioned for CHF 61,300.00 (€ 63,156.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art/Swiss Made durch, in der auch die Arbeit Esprits Du Lac, 1909 von François de Ribaupierre zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CHF 37.500,00 (€ 32.364,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von François de Ribaupierre konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli letzten Jahres die Arbeit Portrait eines Walliser Mädchens. für CHF 61.300,00 (€ 63.156,67) versteigert.
