Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Torso by Francisco Narváez was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. The price achieved of USD 17,640.00 (€ 15,145.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Narváez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 267,750.00 (€ 206,151.83).

Die Arbeit Torso von Francisco Narváez kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 15.145,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Narváez erzielen.
