The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,849.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Francisco Matto have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work Constructivo en rojo y azul was auctioned for USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,164.27).
