Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Constructivo con paloma by Francisco Matto was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,441.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francisco Matto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Constructivo en rojo y azul in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,164.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Constructivo con paloma von Francisco Matto kam im September 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.441,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francisco Matto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Constructivo en rojo y azul im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.164,27).
