Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu Dans L'Atelier by Francis Gruber was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,577.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francis Gruber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Otages - 1946 in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nu Dans L'Atelier von Francis Gruber wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.577,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Gruber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Otages - 1946 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
