Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „Composition“. by Francis Bott was sold in the Online Only 2021/2022 - Third Floor Online Only, 25.2. - 6.3.22 auction at Grisebach in March last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Bott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ailes (H.937) in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,550.94).

Die Arbeit „Composition“. von Francis Bott wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Online Only 2021/2022 - Third Floor Online Only, 25.2. - 6.3.22 bei Grisebach versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Bott erzielen.
