Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition. by Francis Bott was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The price achieved of SEK 38,000.00 (€ 3,274.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Bott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ailes (H.937) in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,550.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition. von Francis Bott wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 38.000,00 (€ 3.274,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Bott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ailes (H.937) im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.550,94).
