Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Francis Bott achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 4,198.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Bott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ailes (H.937) in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,550.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francis Bott erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 4.198,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Bott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ailes (H.937) im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.550,94).
