Upper estimate price exceeded by 53 %.
The work Sans Titre- Circa 1960 by Francis Bott was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,837.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Bott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ailes (H.937) in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,550.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre- Circa 1960 von Francis Bott wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.837,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Bott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ailes (H.937) im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.550,94).
