Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 5.000,00 und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Bott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ailes (H.937) im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.550,94).
