In July 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work My Heart is Full of Joy by Fiona Rae. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,125.64), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fiona Rae have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure 1i in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,560.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit My Heart is Full of Joy von Fiona Rae zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.125,64) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fiona Rae auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figure 1i im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.560,40).
