In December 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Untitled (Fig. 12) by Fiona Rae. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,136.43), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fiona Rae achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure 1i in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,560.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Fig. 12) von Fiona Rae zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.136,43) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fiona Rae erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure 1i im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.560,40).
