Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I Didn't Do It, Nobody Saw Me Do It by Fiona Rae was auctioned at Christies in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 11,340.00 (€ 10,430.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fiona Rae have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure 1i in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,560.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit I Didn't Do It, Nobody Saw Me Do It von Fiona Rae kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 10.430,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fiona Rae auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figure 1i im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.560,40).
