Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin Titulo by Fernando Zóbel was sold in the Modern Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 4,788,000.00 (€ 578,904.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,500,000.00 – 5,500,000.00. Other works by Fernando Zóbel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work Retiro was auctioned for EUR 859,500.00.

Die Arbeit Sin Titulo von Fernando Zóbel wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Evening Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.788.000,00 (€ 578.904,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.500.000,00 – 5.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Fernando Zóbel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2021 die Arbeit Retiro für EUR 859.500,00 versteigert.
