The work Pequeno Vuelo (Miniature Flight) by Fernando Zóbel was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,040.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Zóbel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Retiro in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 859,500.00.

Die Arbeit Pequeno Vuelo (Miniature Flight) von Fernando Zóbel kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.040,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernando Zóbel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Retiro im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 859.500,00.
