Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Miraflores by Fernando Zóbel. The price achieved of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 205,431.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,500,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fernando Zóbel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Retiro in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 859,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miraflores von Fernando Zóbel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 205.431,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.500.000,00 – 2.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fernando Zóbel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Retiro im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 859.500,00.
